Strategic Approach for Funding College - $300 (One Time Payment)

Review client’s financial picture and come up with a solution to pay for college. Develop a long term solution to pay for college for all years and all children.

Includes:

  • Calculate Expected Family Contribution (EFC)

  • Provide strategies to reduce EFC

  • Strategic suggestions to pay your share of college costs

  • Review all financial aid awards vs. data points to ensure fair award and counsel on appeal options and strategies

  • Provide tax-efficient borrowing strategies to help keep financial goals in line, along with cash flow strategies for college years & beyond

  • Suggest strategies on how to possibly use your home equity so that it helps, rather than hurts, in the Financial Aid Formulas

  • Coordinate college strategies with longer term objectives

 

Forms Only - $250 (FAFSA or CSS Profile only), $450 (FAFSA & CSS Profile)

Complete and submit FAFSA and/or CSS Profile forms.

Includes:

  • Assist parents to register for FSA IDs

  • Review previously submitted FAFSA if applicable

  • Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Register your student for the CSS Profile

  • Complete CSS Profile

  • Complete any additional forms required by the individual schools

  • Make any necessary adjustments to the SAR, update with completed taxes

  • Provide protection from being overlooked for Grants, Scholarships or Loans due to mistakes in your Financial Aid forms

 

Comprehensive Package - $3500

This package includes the following services regarding assistance for the student and family during the college application process:

Includes:

  • Creation of a balanced college list using a College Choice Survey tool; Likely, Target and Reach schools will be selected together as a team

  • Provide resources to encourage Summer Camps, Internship Opportunities as well as Volunteer Placement

  • Provide insight on possible academic areas of concentration or possible majors to pursue, with the help of aptitude testing results

  • Development of unique 650 word Personal Statement that is required for all applications; from brainstorming, drafting and editing to the final product

  • Development of a personal resume including coursework, leadership opportunities, volunteer, athletic and school involvement to be used for Letters of Recommendation as well as the Activities section on the Common App

  • Creation of individual Supplemental Essays that are required by some universities and colleges

  • Unlimited meetings with Counselor via phone, text, Zoom, in person or FaceTime

  • Unlimited editing of all written work through shared Google documents

Once a signed contract has been agreed upon by both parties, the student and family will be supervised throughout the application process until they have decided where to enroll as a freshman the following fall.

Appeals - $350

Review awards letters and draft appeals for up to 3 schools.

Includes:

  • Review up to 3 Award Letters and professionally evaluate if your offer was fair

  • Provide tested appeal letters if you were under-awarded
